“No matter how unbiased and rational we claim or portray to be, some prejudices are so ingrained that they are projected in our expression without any deliberation behind.” 



The main motivation behind writing this piece is how the difference in thought process and opinions of self and especially others shape the individualized world. Individualized world is the creative existence as per one’s intellect and how one perceives the stimulus. That said, thought process is the crux of that embodiment. Now, thought process is an evolutionary, impressionable and critical in nature. A great number of discernible and incomprehensible events have an evident impact on person’s thinking. The place and persons we belong to, where the time spent the most, especially the age 15-20, the people and groups we come in contact with, whether knowingly or unintentionally. The songs we binge on, movies, series, media, literature we intake. The most important of all are the drastic experiences and the persons whom we idolize and create the surge of passion and channelization of energy to do achieve something worthy. There are others factors too but the above mentioned seemed salient to the present writer, addition or subtraction could be made as one pleases.

             College is the place and time which directs person to their respective potential, also where core of person’s ideals, principles, belief system and attitude is shaped and further flourished. This is the transition phase from malleability towards rigidness. One gets swayed by the random feed of various ideologies floating here and there, ends up choosing which suits first and influence later. This act of choosing too depends on the degree of audacity and timidity, altogether. Friends: loosing earlier ones and escorting newer ones. All credits to prejudices that are concomitant, to which initially we fail to accept and later at some point of acceptance it becomes quite hard to get rid of them. Ego, to abide by the earlier taken stand and non-acceptance impede further.

          This all leads to segregation and this is the most dirty effect of- ‘my side and facts presented being right’ and ‘those presented by other segment, mere shibboleth’. The biggest issue with the presentation/representation of facts is that they are very easily appropriated as one pleases and molded to substantiate one’s stand. This insular approach causes great harm to the progression of knowledge base, than to gain benefits of exchange of opinion to broaden one’s perspective and get rid of prejudices. The harm that it causes is the initiation of vicious cycle of appropriations. All sides presenting appropriated and plagiarized data to emerge stronger rather focusing on the real issue and come up with better solution for the general welfare of society. This zeal to prove self being wiser gives birth to analogies and act of extrapolation. The problem with this approach is that the model presented is not an empirically tested one. It is just a brain child of an ingenious participant who wants to prove the taken-stance right by neutral presentation. No matter how sincerely it has been cultivated by taking due cognizance of other stakeholder's biases, a skeptical mind would easily comprehend the enigmatic and opinionated nuances sprinkled in the model. This causes non-acceptance of the ideas presented in concise and less egotist manner, even if it is ethically correct.

Poulo Coelho Sir has written," the world is changed by your example, not by your opinion".

A personal note-Most of the times we end of using our cursory knowledge about some subjects or intellect of someone else without giving any thought to what might have led to that output.The diversity in ideas should not become conflict, rather listening to other voices helps in enhancement of knowledge and reduction in preconceived notions. The differences must not be used to segregate but rather a medium to uphold the long standing traditions of discourse, which in turn enhances the cognitive thought process, both critical and creative.

My Baji (Grandfather) was a straight forward and a bit rough kind of person. One who had served in the army during two very decisive wars (that of ’47, as a young recruit and ’71), It was normal of a person to be of that nature given the circumstances. He was a traveler and an explorer. He bought an Ambassador after retiring of the rank of Havaldar and drove it as a taxi. As a taxi driver, most of his expeditions were limited between Jammu and Srinagar. And how could one forget the heartiest desire of him to take me once to Patnitop, if everything went well. Alas! That could never happen as the incurable disease got better out of him. But one thing was obvious by the way he used to eulogize about Patnitop that that place had a special place inside his heart. The worst about failure

  entry 65 September   9, 2020 This year started with a ray of hope, as usually every year does, that this year I’ll be realizing my dream, this year I’ll turn my persistence to pay all the dues, and that this year I’ll be bringing the happiest moment in my mother's life. I’m a believer in dreams and I dare you that I’ll prove you wrong if you ever doubted my worth. Each one is aware of one’s worth and makes efforts in order to earn admiration. You have seen your fellow men succeed and you know that you are no less than them. You do envy them for a little, then everything becomes as usual and but yes you do solidify your belief of achieving the desire by self-suggestion that if they can, you can. There are no absolutes, only relatives and I dare if some questions this essay’s morality on comparison bias. No matter how personal our goals are, they are inspired via relativity. Don't Laugh Behind Back

2015 Who does not want to laugh and make fun. There are a few also who wants to laugh at others. In friends circle, friends laugh massively even the joke is of poor rating and many laugh not on joke but on a person who is telling it or whose fun being made. Sometimes deeds of having fun can exceed limits and can cause misfortune. Only those either who lacks self respect or declared themself as loser make fun of unknown person. " UNKNOWN PERRSON " means unknown person. If you make fun of passerby, start laughing on the way others are dressed or their way of talking, walking and eating than i doubt yourself, and if i do so i doubt self. A teacher is harassing child by hitting sarcastic remarks and you are enjoying, please think by exchanging positions. There are many who comments on passer-by. But for me the ones who are standing beside and laughing are bigger culprits. Laughing is good for health. Being human is a privilege and don't waste it by laughing unhealthily. They...
