"सफर खुबसूरत है, मंजिल से भी"-Amitabh Bhattacharya (ADHM)
"Struggle" is a part of life but some go on to the extent of saying that life is a struggle. Here I'm not validating any opinion, everyone has his own perspective and perspective arises after deep analysis of life's experiences. So here this entry is not talking about the struggle in general but about the one behind the dreams that once rose directly from the heart.
'Struggle' has its own veneration among those who succeeded after a great number of failed attempts. The success that those beings achieve can't be compared to the ones who earned it in very initial stages. That phase of life is a character building phase which defines that person until the rest of life. Here not talking about those who give a few tries and later on shift goal, the address is about the obdurate kind. At some point, in-between they even start doubting their own capabilities to succeed but still from someplace somewhere within they regain focus after little deviation and channelize more efforts in the pursuit. Doubting self ain't no flaw, its just sign of capability to exceed earlier set limits. When they emerge through this doubting phase, this also generated a will after which they don't care about sarcastic remarks of spectators which indirectly try to declare individuals-"looser", without paying any due respect to the efforts the person had put in. People belonging to this strata never play excuse+blame game, they accept failure as if it happened because of little less effort and vows to contribute more force ahead and savour victory next time.
The most common term that pops up many a time during this is 'DESTINY'. Some believe in it and some not. According to myself "Destiny is the culmination of choices". As a human, right from the birth we encounter up with paths where we have to choose which one to pursue. It is not like that we are pre-programmed to become that kind of character and reach a particular destination. If that would have been the case then we all would have been acting like robots. I'm not an authority to answer whether the eruption of life and inception of the human genome is a creation of the Genius Mind or just coincidence. Whatever the case would be, one thing is clear that in our lives we are granted with a freedom of choice. During one of the testing phase, an army man once said a phrase before the declaration of result, and it goes like this - " Right man, at the right place and at the right time, can never fail to achieve the objective". When one chooses that freedom of choice well and develops a quality of the above-mentioned phrase, then one becomes well concentrated.
Now let's watch another case, sometimes no matter how much efforts we put in or tries to be that three quality person still the result doesn't appear favorable. When we are just on the cusp of conquest, some hurdle appears from nowhere with an indication that even God doesn't want us to succeed. Then a rationalist mind would indicate that God, being a symbolism and source of positive energy would never do that. The entropy due to this aforesaid enigma would rise in the mind causing frustration and hopelessness. To calm mind, one would open up with a companion and share the thoughts which tend to blur one's sanity.
The companion, a normal human being would console the former by providing assurance that God will definitely have decided something nice for you or if someone is little more mature then the advice would be to keep on trying as you are so close to your destination and to never give up on self neither on God.
"Learnt from failure way more than any might be future successes".
My humble advice to all those who are going through the above-mentioned phases of struggle would
be to keep on trying till your last chance and if it's not about mere job then till last breath. We somewhere commit mistakes, make wrong choices, and sometimes go visit wrong places, it happens. We should always opt for a learner attitude and implement the corrections effectively. The idea of completely giving up on the dream and choose other option doesn't settle well with me. Yes looking for other option is good but at the same time keep on trying for the dream till we got last chance is the right approach as per my conscience. So that one can proudly claim the title of "the-one-who-never-gives-up". I myself haven't done anything miraculous till date, all this writing is about what I have been and still going through. These are hard times but damn sure also the most memorable ones after friends, school, college and crushes and also the most crucial one. Don't keep the mentality of a winner or a looser, be a seeker of knowledge in the whole process, as it is the knowledge that one gain will lead to someplace which in turn will become our "DESTINY".
BE HOPEFULL AND NEVER GIVE UP
