Hitherto i prefer to abstain self from answering questions related to destiny, as of now I am still not clear about it. But all of sudden such things happens which compels you to acknowledge the fact that your encounter with some thing/one was just not mere coincidence, there was some reason behind. There has happened many of those 'so-called' above moments but the one that I just faced or i would say experienced, is just wowing me completely. Four months before, watching a movie everyday was mine tranquilizer. Whether it was a hobby or routine or passion or addiction, i don't know, all i remember is that i took full benefits of the Jio's free trials. Final year exam were over, life changes or attitude towards life changes, seriousness surges and try to focus. Sweat hard, bleed, bear the pain and taste the sweetest fruit as reward. And quite a rational thought- पहले कुछ हासिल कर ले, बाद में जितनी मर्जी फिल्में देखना। during this phase (a crucial phase) of life helps to abstain from moive watching. Movies ranks among the most essential things of my life. So it is hard but not impossible and also one start to understand why those who achieve their dreams are being hailed by the rest, the pragmatic meaning of hard-work one learns by performing one's own experiments.
Saturday night, while having dinner surfing through news channel as KBC doesnot telecast on Saturdays, i reached LOK SABHA TV[ one of the few news channel which provides peace to ears as well as eyes ]. My action was timed to perfection. On every Saturday LST telecasts movie at 9:00 PM which is considered as the finest work of Indian cinema. Tonight it was Guru Dutt's Pyassa, i have had heard about this gem but never was so fortunate to watch it. The moment it started, from the very first frame i knew that these few hours going to be memorable span of the life. A person watches terabytes of movies in his/her life but there are few frames which causes or have everlasting impression on one's life. Sometimes they act as life-changing moments. The opening scene of Guru Dutt's Pyassa is that scene and that moment of life. I don't had any idea about the story, i might have read about it on Wikipedia few years back when it was my hobbie to search the movie name, whichever it be Hindi, Telgu, Tamil, Bengali, Hollywood, French, Italian, Russian, Iranian, etc and read everything especially Plot, though it doesn't reveal whole story but it do tell about the basic storyline.
The opening scene of movie is something like this," a person (i.e Guru Dutt himself) lying down in a park and while gazing at a bee that is roaming over the flowers start reciting his status quo poetry, describing the plight of that bee and then all of sudden a person steps on that particular bee for whom protagonist was professing his artistry and walks away. That little over a minute scene really made huge impact over me like it depicted whole meaning of life. That metaphor bears great analogy to not just a life of an artist but every that person who tries to embark on a journey towards Dream. Whether intentionally or unintentionally this world definitely gonna harm, and thats truth of life.
Though every frame is sheer work of art, the other scene which wowed me was the one filmed in jail of lunatic asylum, where the magazine owner (who is also husband of his ex-lover) and his college time close friend refuses to recognise that the person in front of them behind bars is Vijay (Guru Dutt).
And the thired but not the least, is the beauty of Waheeda Rehman Ji. I don't know how others gonna react to mine saying that i got crush on her(a huge one) analysing the present scenario as she is now 79  year old, which would have been the age of my बू जी (Grand Mother) if she was alive. I will not be wrong to say that she is the most beautiful actress i have ever seen. Her facial expressions, graceful eyebrow movement simply enthralled me. Song ' Jane Kya Tune Kahi' means same  to me the song 'Nagada Sang Dhol' and ' Deewani Mastani'.

The best part about the movie Pyassa is its simplicity and unpredictability. I have never been in my course of movie watching made so many wrong predictions. As i was watching it for the first time and was also not aware of total length of the movie. Every time i made an assumption, instead something else happened. Whole storyline of the movie from the start is set in melancholic demeanor with few exceptions suc as Waheeda Rehman's smile, some college days flashback and Mr. Johnny Walker screen presence, the ending is somewhat unexpected but heart relieving.

For me Guru Dutt is that legend whom people acknowledge only after their demise. The legacy he has left will inspire generations to come. According to me (i might be wrong) artistic achievement should not be measured in figures ( film earning, book sale, cassette sale) rather the biggest of all the achievements for an artist is when the phrase ' cult-following' is written in his/her bio.

My Baji (Grandfather) was a straight forward and a bit rough kind of person. That could never happen as the incurable disease got better out of him. But one thing was obvious by the way he used to eulogize about Patnitop that that place had a special place inside his heart. The worst about failure

Don't Laugh Behind Back

2015 Who does not want to laugh and make fun. There are a few also who wants to laugh at others. In friends circle, friends laugh massively even the joke is of poor rating and many laugh not on joke but on a person who is telling it or whose fun being made. Sometimes deeds of having fun can exceed limits and can cause misfortune. Only those either who lacks self respect or declared themself as loser make fun of unknown person. " UNKNOWN PERRSON " means unknown person. If you make fun of passerby, start laughing on the way others are dressed or their way of talking, walking and eating than i doubt yourself, and if i do so i doubt self. A teacher is harassing child by hitting sarcastic remarks and you are enjoying, please think by exchanging positions. There are many who comments on passer-by. But for me the ones who are standing beside and laughing are bigger culprits. Laughing is good for health. Being human is a privilege and don't waste it by laughing unhealthily. They...
