After my 8th class from Unique Acadamy H.S.S ,Barnoti i gave entrance test for A.P.S Janglot. I cleared that test. My Boia Ji helped alot to me for my admission in A.P.S. My mother,Grandpa , sister was very happy.
On my first day for new school i dressed up nicely and walked toward Palli morh and boarded bus for school. Assembly of my new school was really impressive.
After some days i got my section it was 'B'. And that day i will never forget. Our S.Sc. teacher stood us for Intro. Its my turn. I told my name and name of my ex-school . Its first word is Unique. He questioned to me for prnounciation of alphavet 'U' in Unique . Firstly i didn't understood him but than whole class started laughing at me. Than he start calling me not with my name but with word 'unique'.His period got over. I was really ashamed. I cried alot.My first impresion was very bad. Akshay Pathania was sitting with me . He really defended me. When i entered school my confidence was at peak but after above incidence it never risen up. Next was Science period. Teacher entered the class. She was also new in school. So she didnot asked for intro. She while teaching asked a question. I answered that and two other guys also. She praised us. Her period got over. After that a guy name Preetek Sharma came to me and said you are bomb man.
At home i shared my first day experiance with my mom. She told me that teacher usually test new student. So take it as a lesson. Prove him that you are someone.
That first day was really the worst day of my school life.
entry 66 July 11, 2020 At some level, I like to personify stuff and all might be that’s somewhat acted as immunity against narcissism and hedonism. My Baji (Grandfather) was a straight forward and a bit rough kind of person. One who had served in the army during two very decisive wars (that of ’47, as a young recruit and ’71), It was normal of a person to be of that nature given the circumstances. He was a traveler and an explorer. He bought an Ambassador after retiring of the rank of Havaldar and drove it as a taxi. As a taxi driver, most of his expeditions were limited between Jammu and Srinagar. And how could one forget the heartiest desire of him to take me once to Patnitop, if everything went well. Alas! That could never happen as the incurable disease got better out of him. But one thing was obvious by the way he used to eulogize about Patnitop that that place had a special place inside his heart. And more than the desire of him to take me there I think he himself...
